We offer opportunities for growth and a rewarding experience as a valued member of a dynamic inter-disciplinary team providing a high-level nutrition-related expertise for all hospitalized patients.

As a Registered Dietitian you will:

• Be the nutrition liaison/expert to assigned units &/or committees.

• Respond to the needs and initiatives for nutrition care process improvement.

• Write orders in accordance with the Dietitian Delegation Order system protocol.

• Be a collaborative member of the interdisciplinary care team.

• Formulate a Nutrition Diagnosis and identify Malnutrition through application of Nutrition Focused Physical Assessment and the nationally established criteria for identification of malnutrition.

• Participate in department-based Quality Process Improvement activities.

• Provide appropriate nutritional education and counseling based upon patient/family learning needs and abilities.

• Provide timely interventions as determined by Nutrition Risk level and the Plan of Care.

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.

• Analytical skills to accurately assess, plan, and evaluate outcomes.

• Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse population and collaborate in a team environment.

• Strong nutrition education/counseling and mentoring skills.

Critical thinking skills for sound decision making.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) - required within 9 months of hire.

• Registered Dietitian (RD) - required within 6 months of hire.

• Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA)
